Focus

Courtney over at Southern Princess included a quote in a post this week that resonated with me:

"It's not what's happening to you now or what has happened in your past that determines who you become. Rather, it's your decisions about what to focus on, what things mean to you, and what you're going to do about them that will determine your ultimate destiny." -Anthony Robbins

Today, I decide to focus on our niece who is visiting from Australia, and the pictures we both plan to take on our tour of the area today.

Here is a warm-up for you.

Happy Friday!

  4. Have fun with your niece. Take great pictures. Me, I need to take a walk and work off a few pounds I recently gained sitting at the PC too much.

  5. Great picture of the colorful boats on 1 side & the soothing gray blue water on the other!

Hope you & your niece had a great time! :)

  6. Choose the red one! The red one! Or... maybe the blue one. Yeah, the blue one.

The water looks so calm. No waves at all. Have fun.

  7. Great quote! It reminds me of one of my faves:

"You are not defined by your actions in the past, but by how you plan to act in the future."

Don't know who said it, (Oprah, maybe?) but I think about it often!

    Happy weekend!

  8. I'm glad I just found on through KarenG (Coming Down the Mountain). This is a beautiful, restful blog. My daughter and I both LOVE the photograph - the lake, the rowboat, the green, green trees (her favorite color is green, so there you are).

I'm copying the quote by Anthony Robbins. This is so true.

    I'll be back.
