A Click in the Right Direction

I’m excited to share that my first essay: “Diet 'Lite'” now appears on South Shore Living Magazine's on line site where I will be blogging about food related topics twice a month. For some reason in this, my inaugural piece, the first sentence appears on the splash page but was left off the actual post, so here it is:

  1. Woo-hoo! Way to go! Very nice article. I do need to say though -- I am a gym rat! (And then I come home and bake.)

  5. Congratulations, Liza! Nice idea with the home-made baking ingredient gift. Could you toss an egg or two into the jar as well, for the sake of completeness? That'd be awfully convenient.... :)

  6. Very nice! Love your smooth writing style.
I have learned that for me personally low cal. versions just don't cut it. I am never satisfied so end up eating WAY MORE if I don't get what I really want. I just budget for those calories. Also have learned that some foods are just not worth their calorie count, so I've cut them out.
Hope this article is the beginning of a great year for you!

  7. Liza,
Congratulations! I like the idea of the gifts in jars rather than making too much and eating the leftovers.

  8. Congrats on the new gig, Liza!! So excited for you. That was a great article, by the way. So often, I think people are overwhelmed not just by the amount of work it takes to change their lifestyle, but the cost. You had some great tips for way to make better eating affordable. Well done! I hope the gig turns into something even bigger and better for you.
