Still, at Sunset

Here's a Monday rest for your eyes.  For those in the mid-Atlantic and on the East Coast, nope, I sure didn't take this picture this weekend.  Hope those of you in the severe storm area are safe, warm and shoveled out.

Happy Monday.

We are shoveled out but beyond our driveway, the streets aren't doing so good. Most everything is still closed.

We are shoveled out thanks to two snow blowers, a kind neighbor, and a stranger looking for work. It took a village.

Gorgeous!!! We only got a dusting of snow, which was gone almost as fast as it came, but I really feel for the folks who got buried under multiple feet of the stuff. Our old home town in MD set a new record: they got as much snow in two days as they ordinarily get in a whole year. Yowza.

Have you thought about making a summer board and putting your pictures on it? Would that make you feel better or worse when you're two (or more) feet deep in snow?

Beautiful picture. I'm in Virginia, and Friday evening and Saturday morning, it really did feel like Snowmegeddon. Just a wall of white outside, and schools closed for four days straight. It took us about that long to dig ourselves out, and thaw out our cars. I may be alone, but I'm ready for winter to be over.
