Blizzard Warning

By the time you see this Monday morning, we'll be in the thick of a storm.  I'm going to channel my inner peace by thinking of this guy, who I caught overlooking the pond on Saturday.  Wishing you all a good week, and for those of you in storm range, light shovels.

Beautiful shot.
You must be getting the storm we just had. Only we received only rain, rain, and more rain...

Hi Liza - and we got your wind .. or perhaps the rain/snow is coming. A good time to hunker down ... I hope that little bird finds somewhere warm to go to ... except they need food, rather more than we do for a while - cheers Hilary

stay warm.

It's even 44 degrees in Tampa this morning. That's like the end of the world for us.

hunker down and stay safe. Hope the power stays on and that you can sip cocoa and write a poem

I heard you might get a foot of snow with this storm and more later this week. Stay warm. It can't be as bad as last year.

Not that I've tried this (living in FL), but my mom recently told me that spraying your snow shovel with an olive oil (or any oil) spray makes the shoveling much easier. Have you tried that?

Oh look at that bird with his feathers all fluffed trying to stay warm. This picture makes me cold!
