Here's the thing. We're old. It's
poetry. But, you guys, this book is so good. It's life. It's
real. And if you doubt you are going to get old...well, God willing, it's
going to happen to you, too, and when it does, you'll still be human.
You'll still count. You will still be you.

I saw that! Congratulations to Stephen.
You don't HAVE to get old. Not if you consume enough Cayenne... and beer... you have to drink an awful lot of beer... but I'm out to prove it CAN be done.
Thanks for the shout-out, LIZA!

Old is a number and where you fall in the key advertising range. Young is in the heart.
Cheers!
The body might be old, the mind not as sharp, but I have so many wonderful memories of yesterday and still have hopes for the future. I might not dance as fast as before but I can still enjoy the music.
So true, if you're not there yet, you will be someday. We may be old on the outside, but our spirits are still young on the inside. The book is wonderful! So thrilled to be a part of it. Congratulations to Stephen!
Old not as bad as I anticipated. There's some freedom in it though your never feel in the earlier years.
Congrats to Stephen! Old Broads is on my Amazon list :)
Hahaha, congrads to Stephen. Put it on my wish list over at Amazon. Thanks, Liza.
Hey, you don't have to be old to like it. My twenty-six year old son said he liked it, and he even mentioned specific details about several poems, so I know he really meant it. There's no lying in poetry. Congrats to Stephen!

My son loves poetry; I should get this as a gift. He does have a birthday coming up...
Well-said. Although my exterior is definitely fraying around the edges, I'm still clinging to a youthful attitude on the inside, and enjoying life as much as I ever did. (Just a wee bit more slowly.)
