Things I've Learned Over the Last Year and a Half.
Always listen to your body.
It is easier to do the right thing,
even if it may not feel that way before you do it.
Anger has no place when life is
finite.
Say what you need to say. One
day, you won’t have that luxury.
It’s important to live in the here
and now, but don’t forget to remember.
Never underestimate the importance of honesty.
The hardest thing you have ever done
becomes less so, if it means managing someone’s pain.
“Someday” is not a guarantee.
Love needs no words, but say them
anyway.
The earth offers up symbols.
Believe in them.

Doing the right thing by others is so important.
My wife and I say we love each other every morning and every night. Plus times in between.
Lots of wisdom here. I would add, "Always listen to your inner voice (or your gut), because it won't steer you wrong."
I think symbols are everywhere if we open our eyes to them!
Every word so true. Yesterday is gone, tomorrow hasn't arrived, today is all we have. The old I get the more I realize that being present in the present moment is truly living.
Those are great pointers on how to live a life. In the past few years, I've learned to stop anger in its tracks. I've just decided it's not an emotion I like to feel.
You are very wise.
Very wise reflections. I live by the "someday" might not happen, but I use the Philly term "Gonna" for "going to". As in I'm "gonna go to "fill in the blank" when I retire. Gonna didn't happen for my mother. It made me book more trips. Take care and I hope a hummingbird flies by your window today.
Wise advice here. It's good to stop and reflect once in a while.
Great wisdom. I say I love you to my husband at least twice a day, and for my daughters and parents.
such a good post Ms. Liza...always good ones but this hit the target this morning...
What a beautiful post. I'm sitting here thinking about each of these lessons, and if you have learned them in the past year and a half, it's been a wonderful time for you indeed. It's so interesting how life with its good and bad teaches us what we need to know. Thank you for sharing this.
