| The garden is just about done. This fella isn't helping. Anyone care to hazard a guess as to his species? Some say Swallowtail butterfly, others Monarch butterfly. Never seen one like it before, but for a caterpillar, it's pretty cool. Just not on my parsley. |

No idea on the caterpillar. He looks like he'll become a really nice butterfly though. If he lives...
Your pictures are amazing. The quality from an IPhone astounds me constantly. Now ANYONE can take a decent photograph:) That caterpillar is gorgeous. No ideas on what sort of butterfly he'll be, but I understand you not liking him on the parsley.

I don't know if you follow the blog Unicorn Bell or not. They are accepting submissions this week of your query. There is a guideline posted at the end of last week on how to submit and the email address. I remember you posting something a while back about your query. Perhaps it would be worth it to have other people with query experience weigh in.

That leaf is beautiful. I still say the caterpillar is a swallowtail because... I looked it up in my book. Besides the monarch caterpillar has yellow, black and white stripes with a pair of little black feelers at both ends.
I love looking at your pictures; they always remind me of home (MA). And wow! That leaf is gorgeous!
